Concrete Reinforcement

Reinforced Concrete, Concrete in which steel is embedded in such a manner that the two materials act together in resisting forces. The reinforcing steel—rods, bars, or mesh—absorbs the tensile, shear, and sometimes the comprehensive stresses in a concrete structure. Plain concrete does not easily withstand tensile and shear stresses caused by wind, earthquakes, and other forces; and thats where S&N Rebar of Albuquerque comes in.

Concrete Rebar

Concrete Rebar, Is a common steel bar that is hot rolled and is used widely in the construction industry, especially for concrete reinforcement here in Albuquerque.  Steel rebar is most commonly used as a tensioning devise to reinforce concrete and other masonry structures to help hold the concrete in a compressed state.  Concrete is a material that is very strong in compression.

Wire Mesh

Wire Mesh. This concrete reinforcing mesh is produced using state of the art weaving machines, in clean and air conditioned halls, to the highest levels of quality and reproducible. A growing number of sintered meshes are now available to meet the challenges of increasingly demanding applications.
